I took a day trip to Bled today since logistically it works out easier than staying there over night. It is about 1.5 hours away from Ljublana and better to take the bus than the train since the bus stops right here in the town vs a few miles away.
When I arrived in Bled..I was taken away from its beauty! The lake water was clear as it can be..people do swim it in when its warmer..the trees were in all sorts of colors. So calm and peaceful- just what I needed! I took the stroll around the 2.5 mile perimeter of the lake and then hiked up to the castle for the view. I went on a boat ride which took me to the Bled Island where the church is. They say that is you ring the bell at the church..all your dreams will come true. We shall see!

I left Bled at 2:30pm to head back to Ljublana but made sure that my camera caught everything I wanted to though mz pictures probably wont do it justice! Lake Bled..I would love to see under snow!
